Tuesday 2/12 – Day Two of our Cruise, At Sea
Today is a sea day as we travel to our next stop, St
Maarten. It is a gorgeous day, light clouds and 75 degrees. I was up early and
went up to the Lido Deck for breakfast and coffee, leaving the girls to sleep
in. Returning to our cabin with coffee, I found Tina up and finishing her
makeup. We called Denise and she too was up and nearly ready to go. Since I'd
already had breakfast, I changed into a swim suit, grabbed my book and headed
for the pool to grab a lounge chair before they all disappeared. Four hours
later (lightly roasted all around) I ran down the girls in the Caribe Grill for
lunch.

After lunch the girls went to seek some entertainment.
Meanwhile, I grabbed the computer to do some banking and update the blog.
Sitting in the main Piazza I snagged a large virgin Strawberry Daquiri and
listened to steel drum music while tapping the keys. It was a pleasant
afternoon as we cruised on a South by Southwest heading under blue skies with
the temperature around 75 degrees. Later, after changing to my swim suit, I
spent some time poolside with my book just letting the day drift by. Ahhhhhh,
definitely the way to go!!
Around 5:00 I headed on up to the cabin to dress for dinner.
We decided to eat in the buffet as no one really wanted to dress up for dinner.
Later we went to the Casino and played the slots – no success... then spent an
hour in one of the lounges listening to the big band sounds of the 40's and
50's played by the on board band. They were quite good. By now it's after nine
so we headed to our rooms to call it a night.
