Sunday 2/17 – Arrival at Ft Lauderdale and the drive to
Naples
Up early for breakfast, our bags taken off the ship and sent
through customs, we had a liesurly breakfast while waiting for departure
instructions. Eventually we were told to go to the casino where we read for
about half an hour then it was time to leave. Everything was very orderly and
we made it through customs, found our bags and made it to the street where we
caught the shuttle back to the parking lot. The shuttle driver dropped us and
our bags off at our car so we loaded up, made it to the exit and worked our way
back to the freeway. It was an uneventful drive back to Naples with one stop
for gas before we picked up the dogs, then home to Marbella Lakes.
After emptying our bags and getting laundry started we spent
the rest of the day doing laundry and putting together the grocery list.
