Juno Beach - Day 2

Monday the 9th

We got up at 6:15 AM to the sound of the wind howling about the coach. While I took a quick shower, Tina made coffee so I could take the kids for their morning walk. When I got back Tina was dressed and ready to go so we went for a quick turn around the facility for our morning walk.

Today is a day for getting a few things done. We made a trip to the hardware store so I could get an ‘allen’ wrench to adjust the passenger side mirror; the bike shop to get a trunk mounted bike rack and the local Thai Restaurant for lunch. We had planned to go for a ride but the wind was way too strong so we’ll wait for it to calm down before venturing out. We did get some suggestions for a couple of good rides from the bike shop.

After setting up the bike rack and adjusting the mirror we went up to the clubhouse and shot pool for an hour. When we got back I found the cable connection and hooked that up. The rest of the afternoon we spent reading and listening to the wind as it rocked the coach from side to side. Oh yeah, we also went for several short walks to get the dogs some exercise.

For dinner we had a really great salad and the rest of our Shrimp Phad Tai from lunch followed by several games of cribbage. Then it was time to slowwwww down for the day in preparation for bed – heh, heh!

Other than the wind, it was another very nice day with temperatures in the low 80’s and partly cloudy.

No photos today.
